The Quranic Teachings

"Ar-Rahman. He it is Who has taught the Qur'an" [55:1-2]. "He bestows beneficence upon those who follow it" [6:155].

Man is to conquer whatever is in the universe

WHATEVER is in the heavens and in the earth has been made subservient to man [22:65, 31:20, 45:13]. The sea [16:14], the ships that sail in the sea [14:32, 22:65, 45:12]; the rivers [14:32]; the sun, the moon [7:54, 13:2, 14:33, 29:61, 31:29, 35:13, 39:5], and the stars [7:54, 16:12]; the day and the night [14:33, 16:12]; and the animals [22:36] are just to name the few things. All this subservience is according to the LAW [i.e. Amr] of Allah [7:54, 14:32, 16:12, 22:66, 45:12] and in all this are signs for those who THINK & REFLECT [45:13] and who make use of their AQL [i.e. mind] [16:12]. The purpose of all this is that man may thrive and flourish [la’allakum tashkoroon] [16:14, 22:36, 45:12]. The nations who have THOUGHT, REFLECTED and made use of AQL in doing research on what is in the heavens and the earth are thriving and flourishing but those who have neglected this, are poor and subservient to those who did reflected and researched.

Important!

"And do not follow (blindly) any information of which you have no direct knowledge. (Using your faculties of perception and conception, you must verify it for yourself). In the Court of your Lord, you will be held accountable for your hearing, sight, and the faculty of reasoning."[17:36]
