Sura 114: An-Naas

With the Glorious Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate [Who has bestowed upon mankind His Guidance {10:57-58, 17:82}], the Most Beneficent [Who showers His special blessings upon those who rehearse it and abide by it {7:204, 6:155}].

114:1 Say, "I seek protection, preservation and refuge with the Lord of the mankind [Who brings things into existence, nourishes, sustains, maintains, regularises, and directs them from their earliest state to that of ultimate completion and perfection]

[Ta'awwaz][Rabb][An-naas]

114:2 MAALIK of the mankind [Who possesses the right over everything and Has power to direct and control them according to His Self-defined Laws]

[Maalik]

114:3 ILAAH of the mankind [Who renders secure by delivering]

[Ilaah]

114:4 From the evil of the enticing [, alluring and beguiling] whispers of the elusive tempter

[Shar][Waswasa][Khannas]

114:5 That stirs [or stimulates] minds of the people with evil and vain whispers [or ideas or imaginations or thoughts]

[Sadar]

114:6 [And I also seek protection] from the [evil of] the invisible beings and human beings."
